Coventry University has approved the delivery of five new postgraduate programmes with Kadir Has University from September 2014.

Institutional Approval (IA) and Course Approval and Review Panel (CARP) events were held at Kadir Has University in Istanbul to approve Kadir Has University’s Cibali Campus as a new location for the delivery of collaborative programmes, and the launch of five dual-award postgraduate programmes. On behalf of Coventry University, the Panel approved both the institution and programmes subject to conditions.

The Panel toured University facilities and met with staff and current students at Kadir Has University. The Panel commended Kadir Has University on the quality of its facilities and the strength of the collaboration with Coventry University.

The panel for the events was chaired by Dr Ruth Heames (Head of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies, Coventry University), who was joined by Nigel Poole (Associate Head of Aerospace, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Coventry University), Caroline Walsh (External Panel Member; Senior Lecturer and MBA PT Programme Leader, University of West London Business School), Professor Steven Curtis (External Panel Member; Discipline Lead for Economics and Politics, The Higher Education Academy), and Mark Garnett (Panel Secretary; Quality Enhancement Unit, Coventry University).
